Dr. Natasha Kassam
Dr. Natasha Kassam is a board certified primary care physician specializing in holistic medicine. She treats the broad range of acute and chronic conditions seen in family practice, and has a special interest in cardiology and pulmonary medicine.
She gained valuable experience when she was one of a few chosen interns in the Center for Natural Medicine’s Heart and Lung Wellness Program. In addition, Dr. Kassam completed a residency program with the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM).
Experiencing years of personal health issues herself, Dr. Kassam eventually sought non-traditional methods of healing, during which time she was introduced to naturopathic medicine. Her treatments led to dramatic changes in her well-being. This experience, along with Dr. Kassam’s passion to help people, cemented her commitment to becoming a naturopathic doctor. Dr. Kassam received her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with a minor in biology at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada. She received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National College of Natural Medicine, Portland, Oregon.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Kassam teaches skill labs on physical examination techniques and patient charting and is a distributor for a healthy cocoa company.
Beyond her practice of naturopathic medicine, Dr. Kassam is enthusiastic about physical fitness, and is an apprentice Gyrotonic® instructor at the Seed Center in Portland, Oregon. She plays sports, hikes, and appreciates nature and quiet meditation. Visit her Website www.askdrkassam.com
